Sixth Form Results 2024

 

CONTINUED SUCCESS FOR REGENT SIXTH FORM STUDENTS IN THIS YEAR’S A LEVEL, BTEC NATIONAL AND CAMBRIDGE TECHNICAL COURSES

 

15 August 2024: Regent High Schools’ Year 13 students and staff are celebrating the release of A Level, BTEC National and Cambridge Technical results. The national picture has seen a return to 2019 outcomes and the school is proud to highlight the remarkable achievements of several exceptional individuals.

Students have seen significant success in securing university places at a broad range of institutions, including UCL, King’s College, Birmingham University and Warwick. Students will be commencing higher study in a range of areas, ranging from Pharmacy to Law, and from Economics to Chemical Engineering.

Among the many success stories, standout individuals who have exceeded expectations include:

 

Hallie Steel achieved outstanding A*, A, B grades in English Literature, Sociology and Psychology.  Hallie is looking forward to starting their first-choice undergraduate degree at Warwick in English Literature and is excited to see where this takes them. Hallie said that the support he received from teachers at Regent High School was amazing, and that the individual time that teachers dedicated to supporting students made a real difference.

Adeeya Sidiqui achieved fantastic A, A, A grades in Psychology, Sociology and Criminology. A former pupil of Netley Primary School, Adeeya will be reading Psychology at King’s College London.  She aspires to one day to work in the field of Clinical Psychology. Adeeya advises students just about to embark on their A levels to stay organise, revise early, and seek help when you need it. She is grateful for the support and motivation her teachers at Regent High School have given her.

Rida Hussain achieved an impressive Dist*, Dist, Dist* in Applied Science and Health and Social Care. A former pupil of Netley Primary School, she now embarks her journey of further study of Radiography at St George’s University. She thanks the teachers at Regent High School for their support and for ensuring that she has always had the resources that she needs in order to study, learn and revise.

Ibrahim Abdullah achieved an impressive Dist*,Dist, Dist* in Applied Science and Health and Social Care. This fantastic set of results has secured his desire to study Pharmacy at Kingston University. Ibrahim is extremely grateful to all of his teachers here at Regent High School saying that “they were so supportive and happy to help you whenever you needed it, and were very considerate of how to support you with the workload of Sixth Form”.

Yusra Ahmed achieved Dist*, Dist, Dist grades in BTEC Applied Science and BTEC Health and Social Care. Yusra attended Argylle Primary School, and will be joining Kingston University, to study Pharmacy. She sees this choice of degree as an exciting next step and provides versatility for her future endeavours. Furthermore, Yusra is the recipient of the Richard Reeve’s Foundation Achievement Award 2024, receiving a one-off grant of £2,000 towards her tertiary studies as a result of her exceptional attitude towards learning.

Dasha Figurova achieved Dist, Dist, B in BTEC Applied Science and Criminology, and is excited to embark in her journey to become a qualified Midwife, studying at King’s College.
