Preparing for a bright future at university

All Year 12 students taking Level 3 courses joined students from our partner school Maria Fidelis, for a day-long ‘Higher Education Preparation Event.’ Students took part in a range of seminars and workshops throughout the day to prepare them for the university application process that they will be undertaking in Year 13.

A highlight of the day was the return of seven former students, who are now at university, who came back to the school to form a panel, giving advice to our Year 12s and answering any questions they had. Students came away with an abundance of useful information about the important decisions they need to make over the coming months.

A big thank you to our former students who came along to the event and to Patrice Buddington, a representative from Birkbeck College, University of London, who gave advice and information from the perspective of a university admissions officer.
