Sixth Form curriculum

As part of the KX3 partnership, an informal partnership with Maria Fidelis Catholic School FCJ and Westminster Kingsway College, our dynamic and innovative curriculum offer is designed to meet the needs, talents and interests of every student. We offer a combination of AS/A Level and BTEC National courses and provide students with personalised guidance on choosing their subjects that will enable them to achieve their future ambitions.

Entry requirements

General entry requirements

At Regent Sixth Form there are four pathways available for you to study. Each of the pathways has its own entry requirements, which students must meet in order to be able to study their chosen subjects:

 

AS and A Level only pathway

 

Applicants must have achieved at least 7 A*-C grades at GCSE or equivalent, including English Language and         Mathematics at grade 5, have an average GCSE score of 5.5 and meet the subject-specific minimum entry requirements (see the table below).

 

Combined AS/A Level and vocational programme pathway

 

Applicants must have achieved at least 6 A*-C grades at GCSE or equivalent, including English Language and         Mathematics at grade 5, have an average GCSE score of 5.0 and meet the subject-specific minimum entry requirements (see the table below).

 

Vocational programmes only pathway

 

Applicants must have achieved at least 6 A*-C grades at GCSE or equivalent, including English Language and         Mathematics at grade 5, have an average GCSE score of 4.5 and meet the subject-specific minimum entry requirements (see the table below).

 

Level 2 vocational programme only pathway

 

Applicants should have at least five passes at grades A*-E at GCSE or equivalent, including English and Mathematics at grade 4.

 

Please also note that any student who does not achieve grade 4 in English Language and Mathematics will be automatically enrolled in resit classes.
