Death of Regent High School student

Regent High School is deeply saddened to confirm the tragic death on Saturday 10 December 2016 of one of its pupils, Nahid Islam.

Nahid was in Year 11 and was in the process of preparing for his GCSE examinations and making applications for post-16 study. His untimely death has foreshortened a promising future.

The Headteacher has today written to parents and carers.

Winston's Wish Helpline

The Winston’s Wish Helpline is a national helpline offering support, information and guidance to all those caring for a child or young person who has been bereaved. It is staffed by people with extensive experience, who have up-to-date knowledge of supporting bereaved children and their families.

The line is open from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm and calls are charged at the local rate.
