Applying to join Regent High School in September 2021

We know how important a time this is for families choosing places for Year 7, so read below to find out how you can get to know Regent High School.

Year 7 admissions

Open Mornings 2020

Parents/carers and pupils in Year 6 are invited to visit Regent High School during Open Week - Monday 12-Friday 16 October 2020 - for a tour led by a member of the Senior Leadership Team.  Tours will start at 9.00am and finish by 10.20am.  COVID-19 safety measures will be in place to ensure the health and wellbeing of our students, staff and visitors.  Visitors must pre-book a place at one of our five Open Mornings, and when they arrive will be asked to sanitise their hands and to wear a mask for the duration of the tour.  We ask that only families of children in Year 6 attend an Open Morning, and, where possible, families restrict the number of people attending from their household.

Families of Year 6 children with an SEND need are encouraged to visit us on Tuesday 13 October when our SENDCo, Ms Lennon, will be available to answer SEND-related questions.

More information about the steps we are taking to keep Open Morning visitors safe is available in the risk assessment, as well as this quick reference guide.

Prospectus

Our prospectus is always a good place to start your research about Regent High School.  Find out key information about what makes Regent High School special.

Films

We are producing a series of films to see what it's like on a typical day at Regent High School.  You can start by watching last year's film, and keep an eye out for new films later in September.

Hear from one of our architects as he takes you on a virtual tour of our award-winning buildings as part of Open House London 2020; you can see the film on this page.

Our website

Our website is packed full of information about Regent High School.  Take time to browse.  You may be interested to read about our curriculum vision, our curriculum map, the extra-curricular clubs and activities we offer, what we do to extend learning and support students' mental health and wellbeing, as well as how we work with parents and carers.  There's all this and more on www.regenthighschool.org.uk

Remember to take a look at what our Year 11 students achieved in the summer and what they have gone on to do.

Twitter

We love to tweet to let everyone know the fantastic things that are happening at Regent High School.  Follow us @RegentHighSch for regular updates.

Meet the Parents

In addition, you can hear from Regent High School students and families at a Meet the Parents event.  Find us at Hawley Primary School on Tuesday 22 September, St George the Martyr CE Primary School on Tuesday 29 September and King's Cross Academy on Wednesday 30 September.  These events provide an informal discussion forum for primary parents/carers to find out more about their nearest secondary schools.

Information from Camden Council

Read the Camden guide to secondary schools and how to apply (you just might recognise which school the student on the front cover attends!).  You can read the Regent pages here.
